From the beginning when I discovered significant water migrating into my home thru a roof leak, panic set in. I frantically called and left messages for (3) roofers. Within an hour, James and Whitney Co. had called me back. Within in an hour after that their Exterior Specialist Steve reached out to me to schedule a time to inspect. Within 48 hrs I had a quote, signed, and a few hours later I had the Project Manager Ben reaching out to let me know his A Team would be onsite the following morning to make the necessary repairs. I immediately felt my anxiety begin to fade away...From start to finish this process took less than 72 hrs to completion...In a time of urgency, responsiveness is paramount and can't be underestimated in my opnion. They saved me probably thousands in extra expense purely based on their response time. This company went above and beyond and the repair is top quality. FYI, the "other" roofing companies I called...1 called be back more than 24hrs later and the other has yet to call me back. Well done James and Whitney Co.!!! Due to the relationships built, I will be using James and Whitney Co. for all of my future exterior projects.

With all the rain this season I made one call, Andy came out to measure got me a price and got me on the schedule. Very impressed with the guys they sent over and cleaned everything up nicely. Highly recommended and a big thanks to Andy for taking care of this project so quickly!

We are very pleased with our project manager, Jesse Tinker and his crew. They were quick, professional and communicated effectively regarding the progress and concerns they had as they stripped our roof and laid new shingles. The yard and area around the house were cleaned up near immaculately. Even went above and beyond and trimmed a branch which was over the roof. Very pleased with our purchase, the quality of the work, the quality of the individuals performing the work and of course the cost. Cannot recommend enough.

I am shook! From the initial estimate to the installation and clean up of my new roof [in ONE day!] I was impressed. My Project Manager. JD kept me updated and informed of the job every step of the way. Every single worker was focused on their job and work tirelessly. I had them come by for a quote on some structural/concrete work I needed on my garage. The guy that came out seemed great, super friendly. He said he would send me the quote in a few days, 3 weeks later and a couple follow up emails checking on the status, nothing, no reply. I don't mind if you don't want the job but you could at least let me know, it's no hard feelings. The main reason I chose them to come out for a quote was because they had great reviews and seemed very professional and the work looked great. Too bad I did not hear back. The fat insurance check I have looks like it will be going to another contractor. I'm sure it won't matter as you guys are probably making a killing either way. Thanks

I could not be happier with the service I received from this company! From my first phone call to my last handshake it was seamless! Very responsive and professional. With all the rain we have had the schedule was pushed back a few times and they contacted me and let me know immediately of any and all changes. Answered every question I had quickly and every employee was always respectful and courteous. And talk about hard working people! Lunch breaks and that was it!!!! We recently had a new roof and siding installed on our 109 year old beach cottage. We can’t say enough good things about our experience with James and Whitney. From start to finish they were very helpful and knowledgeable, giving us options and explaining each and every one, including pluses and minuses. The workmanship and materials were top notch and the crews were polite and respectful of our property and neighbors. They did a great job of cleaning up the site each day before leaving. James & Whitney Co. came highly recommended and now I know why. Project manager Ben Sandy and his crew showed up early and worked hard all day until the job was done, and done right. In addition to doing the work we discussed, they found some substandard vents and replaced them with better ones — and then did a first-rate job of cleaning up. Highly recommend.

From the moment Steve Clark arrived and showed us what was wrong with our roof with a comprehensive roof inspection and providing a competitive quote, to the finished product with quality materials, we could've been more happier with our experience. Jesse Tinker, the project manager, called before the project started to finalize plans and scheduled a date for the work. The crew arrived on time and ready to go. They worked in oppressive conditions on an island and left the job site in impeccable condition. Not a nail could be found. Steve also called the following day to ensure we were pleased with the work. This never happens anymore in construction! We only obtained one quote for roofing our home. And that's because we found James & Whitney to be competitively priced, very communicative, and timely. Allwith a written guarantee.
